Note: As of 2014-10-30, the email server is blocked by the University firewall, and will take several days to fix. Until further notice, for all homeworks use my personal address turnbull@sk.tsukuba.ac.jp, and be sure that the whole Subject is hankaku romaji and contains the course number FH11011.
I do not think it is appropriate to set an examination for this course. Instead, grades are based on a project and homework assignments. The project description is linked below. Homework (50%) and final project (50%) are about equally weighted. Attendance will be taken occasionally at random times, but does not count heavily in final grades.
Additional homework will be assigned for students taking FH61 041 concurrently.
Homeworks are due at 11:00 am on the due date. If you do not submit by the deadline, submit it late for partial credit.

The detailed pages describing each assignment will be revised, and revisions will be announced on the course home page in News. However, the basic idea will not change.
All due dates are 12:00 noon, Japan Standard Time.
