[Grad2021] [Turnbull Zemi] Tutors for Ms. Wang and Mr. Liu

Hi all,

Ms. Wang and Mr. Liu are scheduled to arrive at Narita on June 1, and
according to the latest rules, no quarantine is required.  They hope
to arrive at their dorms in late afternoon (surely after 16:00).  The
university provides support in the form of "tutors", whose main
responsibility is to help with living in Japan and Tsukuba.  This
includes registering with the university (for example the dorms) and
the city.

The pay was ¥1000/hr (last year), up to 40 hours for the period until
March 31, 2023.  Since they are going to different dorms and we hope
to register at the dorm by 5pm, I hope we can have 2 volunteers to
meet them on Wednesday.  Ms. Wang will stay in Ichinoya, and Mr. Liu
in the Global Village.  The main qualifications are (1) you do not
have university employment such as RA or TA that requires more than 15
hours/week (especially next week), and (2) you are comfortable dealing
with university and city staff speaking in Japanese.

There is one form that reports the proposed schedule of work, and
another for the payment (furikomi) to your bank account.  Usually if
you file "振込依頼書", you don't need to do it again, but Ms. Koike of
the office says that since this payment comes from a different source
(the ISC instead of SysJo), to avoid delays you should file it again.
This form requires a number of identification processes such as
MyNumber and copies of your 在留カード.
