[Grad2021] [Turnbull Zemi] Restarting Zemi activity

Hi, all

明日、６月１２日（金）１６：００にゼミを開催します。場所はオンラインで、
詳細は後で伝えておきます。必出席。授業などにぶつかり、違う時間帯にいた
りする学生がいるので録音、録画します。内容は下記の英語だけですみません。
資料はあした１２時頃に公開します。

We will meet *tomorrow* (Friday, June 12) at 4 pm *online* via video.
I will provide details about the meeting venue later.  Attendance is
*required*.  Reference materials will be published around noon
tomorrow.

I will discuss how we will proceed going forward, and some important
information for those taking the entrance exams to graduate school.  I
will also give yet another lecture on modeling, this one based on the
COVID pandemic model that I built for "Mathematics for Policy and
Planning Science."  I decided to do this even though it may seem
repetitive because I had a productive discussion with Mr. Ye, and
realized that although I always emphasize the *importance* of models,
and talked about *what* a model is, I haven't really talked about how
to *construct* a model, or how to *deconstruct* one (that it, explain
the how and why of a model to your audience.  That's what I want to do
tomorrow.

I know at least one student *may* have a class conflict, and at least
one is in a very time zone where that may be inconvenient, so I will
be recording audio and video locally, and I hope also online.
